Amazon’s Prime Video has released the official trailer for season two of Good Omens. The comedy and fantasy returns to the streamer on July 28th. Michael Sheen and David Tennant are back as Aziraphale and Crowley. The events of the first season saw them averting the apocalypse, but making all sorts of enemies along the way, both in heaven and in hell.

This season is completely new. There was only one book, written by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. A rough outline for a sequel was sketched out by the two writers when they were stranded at an airport by a delayed flight, with the draft title 668—The Neighbour of the Beast. That was never developed further, and this season is not thought to be based on any ideas from that. In this story, the archangel Gabriel (Jon Hamm) has gone missing.
