Sigh. I still remember back in 1998, when new trailers were coming out of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. It was exciting. I was going to see a new Star Wars movie in the cinema. That was then, before the dark times, before Disney the Empire.

It’s now 2023 and I am no longer the Star Wars fan I once was. A new product is coming out and I just don’t care about it at all. I’m not excited, I’m not looking forward to it. If it wasn’t for this site, I wouldn’t even be watching Star Wars: Ahsoka.

There are so many things wrong with this trailer. We said with the last one, it’s very female-centric. This has Kathleen Kennedy all over it, the two main villains are men and all of the heroes are women, one with a lesbian haircut.

When Ahsoka first joined the cast of Mandalorian, it was cool. I love Rosario Dawson and she made a great Jedi. It was all good and no issues. This series though now looks like it’s gone full Disney and is about the message, not so much about the story.

I can’t even get excited about seeing Thrawn. If they had stuck to the Thrawn Trilogy books, they would be sat on the biggest franchise in cinema history, but instead, here we are. Most Star Wars fans are tired of the garbage Disney is churning out.

It’s a shame that Star Wars: Ahsoka will be one of the last things we’ll see Ray Stevenson in. I would list the rest of the cast, but what’s the point?

Star Wars: Ahsoka will start streaming on 23rd Aug.
