Netflix has just released the first trailer for Pain Hustlers starring the absolute weapon that is Emily Blunt, Chris Evans, and Andy Garcia. Clearly, this is in a similar vein to Wolf Of Wall Street, American Hustle, and The Big Short which means regardless of watching Bunt strut that fine tail all over my screen, I’m onboard!
Pain Hustlers follows Liza Darke (Blunt) who after losing her job, is a woman struggling to raise her daughter and takes a job out of desperation. A chance meeting with pharmaceutical sales rep Pete Brenner (Chris Evans) she begins work at a failing pharmaceutical startup, but what she doesn’t anticipate is the dangerous racketeering scheme she’s suddenly entered.
The film takes inspiration from a New York Times article of the same name written by Evan Hughes’, with a script written by Wells Tower. Harry Potter director David Yates helms the film which is released on 27th October.
