Secondly, in the role of Fisto, that have cast the huge unit that is Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson.

The fact that they are including Fisto in this gives me hope that they understand the inherent camp of whole thing.

Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel are combining to deliver this. The two new joiners co-star alongside  Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Adam/He-Man, Camila Mendes as Teela, Idris Elba as Duncan/Man-At-Arms, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn and Jared Leto as Skeletor.

Sam C. Wilson as Trap Jaw, Hafthor Bjornsson as Goat Man, and Kojo Attah as Tri-Klops are also on board.

Travis Knight is directing the film from a script by Chris Butler. The story line is under wraps but we all know the basic outline.

Based on the 1980s toy line and accompanying  cartoon series, Masters Of The Universe is set on the distant world of Eternia where He-Man is the alter-ego of Prince Adam and the defender of the fortress of Castle Grayskull.

The castle is prized by Skeletor who wants control of the secrets inside to conquer to universe.

The Sorceress watches over Castle Grayskull, while Fisto was an enemy turned ally.

Masters of the Universe lands  in cinemas on June 5th 2026.
