The internet has lit up with speculation this weekend after rumors started to circulate that some big DC news is coming. Speculation is flying high this weekend following some photo postings and a report on a fan news site fueling talk of significant DC film and/or TV news incoming.
It feels like it should be bigger news than just some rumors about Deathstroke casting being close. So what is it?
It began late last week when DC Studios co-chief James Gunn posted a photo of himself alongside none other than Zack Snyder, previous steward of the world of DC.

DC fans quickly ID’d that the location for the meeting was at DC Studios. Then ComicBookMovie.com reported that a private press event was held at DC Studios on Friday and “some big DCU-related news is reportedly set to hit the net next week… possibly even Monday”.
Well, it is Monday so we may find out pretty soon.
Everyone at Warner Bros. is keeping it quiet. A number of other online outlets have started walking back their excitement by claiming that no news of note came out of the event.
Others are sticking to their speculation that Zack Snyder may be about to take control of another DC title as the DCU gathers pace.
