In the run up to the release of the last Avatar movie, we spent a lot of time wondering how a movie that left absolutely no cultural footprint managed to still be the number one grossing movie of all time.
We predicted that the age of Pandora had passed, and the sequel would not get anywhere near the traction if the first.
Avatar: The Way Of Water then went on to storm the box office and become the third highest grossing movie of all time, making us all look rather silly in the process.
Shows what we know! So this time we are probably going to wind our necks in and not count out James Cameron just yet.
