The Boys is an anti-superhero series. If you took everything nice out of Marvel movies, you would have The Boys left over. It was nicely refreshing, for a while. There is now a teaser trailer for season 5, which will end the series. The teaser is NSFW, so be careful.
Jared Padalecki has a new character in this season. Padalecki is another Supernatural star to join the cast, with Jensen Ackles joining in season 3 as Soldier Boy, and Jefferey Dean Morgan having a small role in season 4.
Padalecki’s role is still a mystery, as nothing has been revealed about his character. The showrunners have talked about this final season being apocalyptic, so there might be some character deaths? Who knows with a series like this?
Season 5 will be on Prime on the 8th of April.
The Boy: Trigger Warning
Not only is the series coming to an end, but there is also a video game on the way. Described as a stealth-action VR game, it will be released in 2026. Here is a teaser trailer.
