Another pillar in the awards season, all roads of which lead to the Oscar, the SAG Awards were recently re-branded as the Actors Awards.
They were held last night and Sinners won what is considered the top honor at these awards – Best Performance by an Ensemble.
Lead actor Michael B. Jordan also walked away with a Best Actor honour, just a week after being engulfed in the the BAFTA Tourette’s incident.

The other headline award winners were Jessie Buckley (Hamnet) taking Best Actress, Sean Penn (One Battle After Another) Best Supporting Actor, and Amy Madigan (Weapons) Best Supporting Actress.
On TV, The Pitt won for Best Ensemble in a Drama Series and Noah Wyle took Best Actor in a Drama Series for the same. Keri Russell won Best Actress in a Drama Series for The Diplomat.
The Studio won for Best Ensemble in a Comedy Series, with Seth Rogen and the late Catherine O’Hara taking the Best Actor/Actress wins as well.
One area where the Actors Awards are ahead of the Oscars is in recognition of stunt performers, and Best Stunt Ensemble was won by Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning. For TV, The Last Of Us took the same award.
The ceremony was hosted by Kristen Bell.
