The teaser for Alien: Earth was attached to certain copies of Alien: Romulus in cinemas. Now FX has released it online. It’s the very definition of a tease. Brief, and gives absolutely nothing away.
Alien: Earth is a TV series coming next year from Fargo and Legion creator Noah Hawley.
According to the details we know so far, it begins when a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth. A young woman (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat.
How this will all fit together is something of a mystery, as the show is also rumored to deal with the boardroom politics of the company and its competitors. It is set decades before the events of Alien, at around the same time as Prometheus but will step more closely to the original films.

Alien: Earth will premiere in 2025 on Hulu, or Disney+ outside the US.
