Before Rosemary’s Baby, there was Apartment 7a. It seems that the people who lived in the building want the devil, really, really badly. Before Mia Farrow got knocked up in Apartment 7a, they were already scheming.
That does look interesting. I like the old-school feel of it. The story for this is:
A struggling dancer finds herself drawn into dark forces by a peculiar couple promising her fame.
Apartment 7a stars Julia Garner, Dianne Wiest, Jim Sturgess, Kevin McNally, Marli Siu, and Rosy McEwan. Natalie Erika James is the writer and director, with Christian White and Skylar James also credited with writing.
Interestingly, the cast also includes Rosemary Woodhouse who was Mia Farrow’s character from the original. Satan also makes an appearance, not as himself obviously, but as an actor playing him.
Jeff Grossman, Executive Vice President, Programming at Paramount+, said:
“Apartment 7A is the perfect way to kick off the Halloween season. Director Natalie Erika James and the prodigious creative team have crafted a chilling and clever new entry into the genre.”
Apartment 7a will be on Paramount+ 27th Sept.
