In a surprise to nobody, the next Deadpool instalment is rumored to be moving forward as a priority for Ryan Reynolds.
A report over at Puck News covers the still ongoing legal battles between Reynold’s wife, actress Blake Lively, and her It Ends With Us co-star and director Justin Baldoni.

Part of the article deals with how it is potentially impacting both Lively and Reynold’s careers as the “he said / she-said” nature of the filings and the commentary is making absolutely nobody look good in the whole mess.
The report indicates that Reynolds, who is a very shrewd marketer and operator, un-fathomably wealthy from his very smart fast marketing and brand tie-ins, knows the score.
As a result, he is pushing ahead with another Deadpool project as this is his most famous character, and the one that the public most closely associates him with, and most positively.

Reynolds already has comedy-survival movie Mayday on the shelf at Apple/Skydance, but that was completed over a year ago.
He will star in Eloise at Netflix and is a voice actor on Animal Friends at Warner.
There are rumors that the fourth Deadpool could be more of a X-Force movie, and that Reynolds will appear in Avengers: Doomsday. This is not officially confirmed yet.
