It is the first day of summer up here in the Northern hemisphere. The season of opportunity, of day drinking at the barbecue, of trips to the beach, of music festivals and of vacations is stretching before us. You know what else it is the summer of? Godzilla Minus One. It’s here! It’s finally here!
By here, we mean on streaming and on PVOD from TODAY – actually right now. Six months after its limited release it is available in the US on Netflix and for purchase on Apple, Amazon, Google, and other digital storefronts.
If you haven’t seen it, you can marvel at how Toho basically schooled the whole of Hollywood and embarrassed them by making something every bit as good (some say quite a lot better) than their blockbusters for a tiny fraction of the cost.
Internationally, the film already arrived on Netflix Australia in time for the dawn out there in the future, and appears to be rolling out around the world on the same basis in key territories.
Godzilla Minus One is available in Japanese with English subtitles, but the rumor is that you can also find an English, Italian, French and Spanish voiceover version lurking as well.
