Christmas is a time of year when we become selfless and think of others. You know how you’ve dragged your wife to all the horror and sci-fi movies this year? Well, now it’s time to pay that back and watch something she might like, Christmas & Chaos.
It looks amusing. It stars Jason Isaacs, who I have to say, looks like he is literally ‘zooming it in’. Jokes aside, it is good to see actors like him doing smaller indie movies.
Christmas & Chaos stars Charlotte Kirk, Isaacs, Ben McGregor, Tanya Burr, Mia Carragher, Stefanie Martini, and Craig Russell. The story is:
Two musicians with clashing styles join forces to create music that will wow a powerful impresario and his associate. Their collaboration is key to keeping their show alive and thriving in a competitive industry.
The rest is from the press release. In Christmas & Chaos, a once-chart-topping pop princess, now desperate for a comeback hit, gets snowed in, in rural Wales with a brooding local musician who swore he’d never sell out. She needs a hit, he needs a reason to risk it, and a high-stakes chance to impress a legendary theatre director throws them into the same room.
Clashing egos, late-night writing sessions, and one very public deadline turn creative warfare into undeniable chemistry. Big laughs, messy emotions, and a swoony slow burn. Christmas & Chaos remixes rivalry into romance and proves the best holiday hit might be the one they never saw coming.
Written and directed by Jamie Adams, the filmmaker behind festive favourites A Wonderful Christmas Time and It’s Christmas!, the film is a love letter to the fun, romance and unpredictability of the holiday season.
Christmas & Chaos will be on digital on 9th November.
