Indie Trailer: NO TEARS IN HELL

Another indie trailer for you, No Tears in Hell. It is another cannibal movie, but it looks interesting. The last cannibal movie we had was Cannibal Muckbang, which was way better than I expected. You don’t see any cannibal movies for ages, then a few come along at once.

No Tears in Hell stars Luke Baines, Gwen Van Dam, Tatjana Marjanovic, Audrey Neal, and Gabriella Westwood. Michael Caissie directs and co-writes alongside Alexander Nistratov. The story is:

In the frozen darkness of an Alaskan winter, a mother and son turn their home into a house of nightmares — luring victims into a twisted web of abuse and cannibalism.

I have to say, I like reading people’s names that I don’t recognise. It means, with movies like No Tears in Hell, I have no preconceptions, like, for example, you would with a James Gunn movie.

The rest of the information is from the press release for No Tears in Hell.

Based on the true story of notorious Russian serial killer Alexander Spesivtsev, the film stars Luke Baines (Shadowhunters, A Dark Place) in an uncompromising portrayal of the brutal Spesivtsev, whose heinous crimes in the early 90s earned him the nickname the Siberian Ripper, and the late Gwen Van Dam (Star Trek: Generations) as Alexander’s enabling and overbearing mother.

“No Tears in Hell doesn’t flinch. It drags you into the darkness and leaves a mark,” said Zach Stampone, VP, Distribution & Brand Relations of Scatena & Rosner Films. “Michael Caissie leads a fearless team, with Luke Baines and the rest of the cast delivering performances as raw as they are riveting. This is true horror. The kind that lingers.”

No Tears in Hell will be on VoD on the 12th of Aug.. I’ll have a review up before that, though.

Please help keep the lights on at the Last Movie Outpost, if you can spare a few bucks.
