Indie Trailers For 2026

January is such a quiet month for movies, but at least there are some indie trailers to look forward to. I will admit, they are hit and miss, but at least they are something new.

Demon Squad: Tooth & Claw

This is a sequel to an indie movie I can’t say I’ve heard of, Demon Squad (2019). Here is a trailer for the sequel.

From the press release, in Demon Squad: Tooth and Claw, a rash of violent killings grips a Southern city, pointing to a terrifying culprit — a werewolf on the loose. As fear spreads, Nick Moon is pulled back into the shadows to confront supernatural threats. He uncovers a deadly conspiracy and stops the monster before it strikes again.

After its MST3K appearance, the original Demon Squad earned a devoted fanbase and drew praise for its ambitious world, indie charm, and genre-blending approach. Its success led to a fully crowdfunded sequel that expands the Demon Squad universe with new beasts, deeper lore, and heightened stakes.

The Tasters

This looks interesting, an indie movie about women who had to taste food for Hitler, in case it was poisoned.

Those Germans were scallywags, weren’t they? From the indie press release, based on the award-winning, bestselling book ‘At the Wolf’s Table’ by Rosella Postorino, The Tasters reconstructs the true story of the women coerced into being food tasters for Adolf Hitler towards the end of World War II.

In 2012, at the age of 95, a woman named Margot Wölk revealed that she had been one of the young German women forced to taste Hitler’s meals at his hiding spot known as the ‘Wolf’s Lair’. Until then, no one had ever known about the existence of the food tasters, and Margot Wölk was the only one among them to survive the end of the war. Her story inspired Rosella Postorino to write At the Wolf’s Table, which in turn inspired the script for The Tasters.

Directed by Silvio Soldini (Days and Clouds, Two Lives), The Tasters stars Elisa Schlott (Our Miracle Years, The Empress), Max Riemelt (Sense8, Two To One, Berlin Syndrome) and Alma Hasun (The Glory of Life, Corsage).
