The world premiere of Joker: Folie à Deux is happening this evening at the Venice Film Festival. Ahead of the world getting the first full look at Todd Phillip’s sequel, a new TV spot has dropped that includes our first glimpse of Harvey Dent in this universe and his voiceover.
Dent is played by Industry star Harry Lawtey, and in the voiceover, he is talking through his prosecution of Arthur Fleck. We do not know if there will be any glimpses of Two-Face in any form in this movie.
Two TV spots are now circulating for the upcoming movie.
Also dropping as part of a package from Warmer Bros. ahead of the premiere event is a first-look clip that features Fleck and Lady Gaga’s Harleen Quinzel together at Arkham Asylum, and we see the first flashes of their relationship to come.
Then there’s a featurette that goes into the film’s use of music, and how the songs are deliberately left feeling unfinished in the production.
The film co-stars Catherine Keener, Brendan Gleeson, Jacob Lofland, Leigh Gill, Ken Leung, and Zazie Beetz.
Joker: Folie a Deux opens globally on October 2nd, and in the US on October 4th.
