MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE Character Posters

One of the questions people have been asking about the upcoming Masters Of The Universe movie is just how far into the aesthetic of the 1980s toy line and cartoon will they go? The trailers and images seemed to hint at a degree of faithfulness to the look and feel. But would they really go all in?

Well, now the character posters have dropped, and it appears the answer is HELL YES THEY WILL!

Amazon MGM Studios has dropped character posters showing a full range of both heroes and villains, including some barely glimpsed in the trailers. These include Sorceress, Mekaneck, Tri-Klops, and Cringer in full Battle Cat mode.

We also see James Purefoy as King Randor, Charlotte Riley as Queen Marlena, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as Fisto, Jon Xue Zhang as Ram-Man, and Kristen Wiig as Roboto.

Jared Leto as Skeletor, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, James Apps as Spikor, Sam C. Wilson as Trap Jaw, and Kojo Attah as Tri-Klops are all there in full, as well as the first real look at the 100% CGI Beast Man. One question remains, though… who the fvck is Goat Man? Here they are, after I spent more time than is healthy gathering them this morning while re-evaluating my life choices.

There is also a rather funky, retro styled poster straight out of the 1980s and screaming out to appear on the front cover of a VHS box.
