Paramount Deal Does Not Deter SnyderBros

A few months back, we wrote about the comical moronism of the SnyderBros. A sub-section of fandom so deluded as to have convinced itself of a modern messiah myth.

Zack Snyder was to rise from the tomb and smite the unbelievers who think his DCEU, the SnyderVerse, is dead. Any day now, any day, the apostate James Gunn shall be stoned to death, and everyone from Henry Cavill to Dwayne Johnson will be reinstated in their roles.

The trigger for this? It was to be the Netflix acquisition of Warner Bros.

Their belief system was underpinned by the frantic sharing of online messages insinuating that the Netflix CEO himself, Ted Sarandos, was a fan of the SnyderVerse and would be personally firing Gunn, cancelling the DCU projects the moment the ink was dry on the contract, and returning their world to joy and happiness.

So what happened? Well, Netflix walked away from Warner Bros. Has this stumped the SnyderBros?

Pivot-Snyder

Has it fuck.

Paramount’s $110 billion Warner Bros. deal is backed by $24 billion from Arab Sovereign funds. The latest position of the SnyderBros, now Ted Sarandos has been proven as a false prophet? It is the Saudis who will save their dreams and install their Snyder-ific cinematic utopia.

Saudi-backed investors who will own a slice of Warner Bros., according to the SnyderBros, want Henry Cavill back as Superman. Snyder will return as part of the deal, as will Ben Affleck (Batman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), and Jason Momoa (Aquaman).

Their first priority upon taking control will be to impel the Ellisons to can the already shot and ready for release Supergirl, the currently in production Clayface, and the already in pre-production Man Of Tomorrow.

These are their articles of faith. To them, this is real. This is happening.

We have a word for these people, don’t we Outposters?
