RED, WHITE & ROYAL WEDDING Is Go

If I wanted to see somebody from the White House f**king their foreign friends in the ass, then I would just turn on the news, but it turns out that you can’t even escape it through entertainment, as Red, White and Royal Blue has started filming.

Proof that we still live in some kind of weird world of women with too many cats came in the form of Red, White and Royal Blue topping streaming charts and still being one of the top-rated romantic comedies of all time.

The 2023 film adaptation of Casey McQuiston’s bestseller followed the adult son (Taylor Zakhar Perez) of the U.S. President (Uma Thurman), and a Prince from the UK (Nicholas Galitzine) whose rivalry turns to friendship and then romance.

Yes, this movie really exists.

A sequel was quickly greenlit after the original apparently drove a huge number of new Prime sign-ups. Seriously.

The wedding in question is not between the pair. They are not quite that stunning or brave yet, but instead is Princess Beatrice (Ellie Bamber), who was the supportive younger sister of Galitzine’s Prince Henry.

Matthew López returns as the writer, and one of the producers is Greg Berlanti because of course.

Galitzine moved on to this after wrapping Masters Of The Universe, where he plays He-Man, and sometimes these punchlines just write themselves.

Red, White and Royal Wedding is expected to be released later this year.

And, yes, I did only write this story up as an excuse to include that opening gag.
