The weekend is here, you have nothing to do, even less to wear, and you need something to watch over the next two days. Instead of scrolling through Netflix, swiping right like you’re looking for a Tinder date, the Last Movie Outpost can tell you what to watch.
No one likes using their own brains to think. It’s much better to let someone else tell you what to do. So, here are some movies and TV shows you could watch over the weekend.
- Opus – Movie – The Menu, but with a musician and no where near as good.
- Joe (1970) – Movie – A very interesting movie with Peter Boyle and Dennis Patrick. Might need to review it, as it was very well done.
- The Ugly Stepsister – Movie – Very, very interesting, but not for the faint of heart.
- The Bondsman – TV Show – Kevin Bacon goes demon hunting, good, but not great. I have yet to finish it, if I can.
- Tombstone – Movie – Cinematic perfection and one of Val Kilmer’s best performances.
- Golden Rendezvous – Movie – Richard Harris movie, a bit crap and not as good as Juggernaut.
- Mobland – TV Series – A slow start, but might pick up.
- Gangs of London – TV Series – I’m still engaged with this. We might put up an open thread over the weekend.
- SPECTRE – Movie – One of the better later Craig Bond’s.
- Uncommon Valour – Movie – Great guy movie.
- Attack of the 50ft Woman – Movie – Still great, silly fun.
- Invincible – TV Show – I have had two friends tell me I should watch it, and I binged season one, which was very good.
- Innerspace – Movie – Still great family sci-fi comedy, with stunning effects.
That should keep you going over the weekend for a while.
It’s Easter
This weekend is Easter weekend, so maybe you could watch something Biblical? My favourite is The Greatest Story Ever Told. It’s the one with John Wayne as a Roman Centurion as possibly the worst cameo ever.
