Something For The Weekend

The weekend is here again, time to P A R T…Why? Because I gotta. A quote there from The Mask. We like to talk movies here at the Last Movie Outpost.

As always, we have a list of movies you might want to enjoy this weekend.

  • Borderline – Movie – New one with Samara Weaving, it was OK, goes a bit crazy at the end.
  • The Ugly Stepsister – Movie – This is still sitting with me, it’s a very well made and deep story.
  • Rebel Ridge – Movie – I really liked this, a good tense thriller.
  • The Occupant – Movie – Not a bad thriller.
  • Where Danger Lives – Movie – Film noir with Robert Mitchum.
  • The Home – Movie – Pete Davidson in an old folks home. Honestly, this was a lot of bat-shit-crazy fun. It was just a shame about Davidson.
  • The Babysitter – Movie – Again with Weaving, and good fun.
  • Eddington – Movie – Actually, really good.

  • Thursday Murder Club – Movie – Meh.
  • Jaws@50 – Documentary – Another doc about Jaws, but a good one.
  • Guns Up – Movie – Kevin James goes John Wick, but he’s pushed aside by Christina Ricci’s John Wick.
  • Dune (1984) – Movie – It’s good, but it’s also got Sting in it.
  • Hamburger Hill – Movie – An underrated movie, although brutal in places.
  • Back to the Future – Movie – Still 100% pure entertainment.
  • Brave the Dark – Indie Movie – Good story, see our review.
  • Jurassic World Rebirth – Movie – Another dinosaur movie.

Well, there are some suggestions for the weekend. What are you going to watch? Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue? Indulge your weekend viewing.
