Yesterday, we had Something for the Summer, but you need something now, for this weekend! As you sit down and get comfy on the sofa, instead of spending hours scrolling through endless lists, debating what to watch, we will tell you what to watch. We know you secretly like being dominated. Here are some movies you might enjoy.
- Dr Strangelove or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb – Movie – Kubrick does comedy, and does it well, and having three Peter Sellers is always great.
- Rumour Has It – Movie – Another Reiner movie, with Jeniffer Aniston, I had to look it up to remember it.
- SCUM – Movie – This is one hard-hitting movie about the British borstal system in the 1970s. A few years after the movie came out, the borstal system was shut down.
- League of Gentlemen – TV series – This isn’t the movie, but a British dark comedy. It’s very twisted and dark, but also brilliantly funny. Are you local at all?
- Dust Bunny – Movie – Mads Mikkelsen takes on a young girl’s imaginary nemesis, a giant evil bunny, it was really good.
- They Shoot Horses Don’t They? – Movie – Wrenage gave it a good review.
- The RIP – Movie – The new one on Netflix, and a solid thriller.
- Killer Whale – Movie – A new movie, with more greenscreen than most Star Wars series. No whales were harmed, as there were no whales in this movie.
- Cop (1987) – Movie – James Woods in a pretty good thriller.
- Silent Hill: Revelations – Movie – The second movie, and terrible, it had Carrie-Anne Moss in it though.
