SOUTH PARK Pulls Episode

After the events of Wednesday afternoon, Paramount has reportedly decided to remove the South Park episode Got a Nut from the rerun schedule on Comedy Central.

Got a Nut was the second episode of the 27th season, and was shown on August 6th. The episode focused on Donald Trump’s ICE raids alongside a second plot that featured both Clyde Donovan and Eric Cartman becoming online influencers and podcasters.

Cartman’s version was clearly based on Charlie Kirk. Kirk was asked on television about the episode and said he considered being the subject of a parody by South Park as a badge of honor, and even changed his profile pic to be Cartman-as-Kirk.

As everyone no doubt knows, Charlie Kirk was assassinated by a gunman during an event at a Utah university earlier this week, and his killer remains on the run at the time of writing this.

Sources have said that the episode being pulled from broadcast is temporary, but prudent, given current events. It remains available on Paramount+, according to Deadline, so it can be sought out, but it won’t be stumbled across in passing on a network.
