Moral panics involving Hollywood are nothing new. From the reds under the bed panic about Communists in Tinseltown from the 1950s to the Me Too movement, there has always been a whiff of something drifting out from LA.

Internet rumors, whispered hints, and jokey innuendo have sometimes given way to more direct accusations. Corey Feldman famously claimed his fellow star and best friend Corey Haim was deeply psychologically damaged as a result of pedophilic abuse while a young child actor.

That story took a turn when Feldman claimed he was warned off talking more about it by some “dark forces” of powerful Hollywood people, in league with local law enforcement.

Whatever the truth, and whatever the sensationalist claims or outright lies, the stories will simply not go away. The latest to talk about Hollywood’s dark underbelly is Fast and Furious actor Tyrese Gibson.

Appearing on the Big Boys Neigborhood Radio Show, he made some bold claims. He stated that Satanic pedophiles run the entertainment industry.

Gibson went on to say more, injecting his faith into the proceedings:

“They are trying to normalize the devil. They are trying to populate… The devil is on the main stage at award shows and in every video and signs and symbols…

You know what? We need to stop treating our relationship with Jesus like the little buddy you talk to before you go to bed at night and not be more vocal about the things that God means to us and all of the things that God has brought us through.

Yeah. They going above and beyond to promote the devil and it’s pissing me off because it used to be that devil worshippers used to be real secretive.”

So that is the point of view of somebody who has made some big claims in the past, like saying Will Smith gave him $5 million then saying his depression medication made him say it.

So what of other points of view? Anyone who may be considered more rational got a point of view on this? Well… yes:

So what is the truth? Is Hollywood ushering in Beelzebub via pentagram scrawling, robe wearing kiddie-fiddlers in powerful positions? Or is it just a load of internet driven codswollop? Or is the reality something entirely different altogether?
