STRANGER THINGS Allegations Swirl

The fifth and final season of Stranger Things is now imminent, and rumors are starting to circulate of some kind of issues on set during the production of this final outing. Accusations have apparently been made that David Harbour “bullied and harassed” his Stranger Things co-star Millie Bobby Brown.

The reports on this, in UK tabloid The Mail On Sunday, are very clear that there are no claims of sexual impropriety. He is said to have faced an internal enquiry after the actress allegedly complained about his behaviour towards her.

In the show, Harbour stars as ex-police chief Jim Hopper. His character adopts Millie Bobby Brown’s character Eleven.

The outcome of the investigation is not known, but the newspaper claims the allegations come from a source on the Netflix hit show, and that the investigation went on for several months. Bobby Brown, who is married to rocker Jon Bon Jovi’s son, model and actor Jake Bongiovi, was reported to have a personal representative with her on set while filming the final series.

Netflix has so far declined to comment on the reported investigation.

Harbour is going through a high-profile separation from his estranged wife, British singer Lily Allen. Her new album seems to have taken the Taylor Swift route and appears to allege multiple acts of infidelity.

Stranger Things 5 will be split into different volumes, with volume 1 (episodes 1-4) on Netflix on the 26th Nov. Volume 2 (episodes 5-7) will be released on Christmas Day, and Volume 3 (a 2-hour finale) will be released on New Year’s Eve.
