It seems that the internet has decided that Supergirl must fail. Once that starts to take hold, it can be very, very hard to shake off. Just ask Snow White. With The Mandalorian and Grogu cratering, Masters Of The Universe tracking softer than an ice cream in the desert, and now Supergirl facing a seemingly unshakeable negative buzz, are we heading for a hat-trick of big-budget, blockbuster failure this summer?
Warner Bros. Pictures will be hoping they can still convince, and to be honest, this final trailer is better than any of the others they have released so far. It announces the opening of pre-sales.

Milly Alcock (House of the Dragon), who I thought was British but turns out to be Australian, takes on the role of Kara Zor-El/Supergirl. It is based on the Woman of Tomorrow limited series from Tom King.
While travelling across the galaxy to celebrate her 21st birthday with Krypto, a ruthless new adversary causes a tragedy too close to home. Kara reluctantly joins forces with an unlikely companion on an interstellar journey of vengeance and justice.
Supergirl co-stars Eve Ridley as Ruthye Marye Knoll, Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem of the Yellow Hills, Jason Momoa as Lobo, David Krumholtz as Zor-El, Emily Beecham as Alura In-Ze and Alice Hewkin as a Sklarian Raider.
Ana Nogueira wrote the script and Craig Gillespie directs. Supergirl arrives in theaters globally on June 24th, then in the US on June 26th.
