It looks like spy pics are back on the menu boys. Yesterday there were some from Masters Of The Universe, today it is the turn of Supergirl.
For years, they seemingly dried up or died out, as studios took control of online outlets with access, screening tickets, and “pwesents” to ensure they only showed fans what was authorized. The more they tightened their grip, the more outlets slipped through their fingers.
Supergirl has always had a somewhat iconic look, but in the post-awakening apocalyptic landscape of modern Hollywood, rife with “current year” thinking, they have always somewhat struggled with how to dress her and keep people with blue hair happy. Not anymore. The latest version appeared to be going back to the classic look straight from the comics.
Supergirl is shooting in the UK right now, and some images and videos from the set have leaked that confirm the classic look. X account @UnBoxPHDFILM first carried the images and video that are now spreading online.
In the images, Supergirl is wearing her classic costume, and on top of some kind of alien vehicle. She even interacts with a character that could be Lobo, wearing dark clothes and wielding an axe with what seems to be long, dark hair.
Supergirl, or to give it the full title: Supergirl: Woman Of Tomorrow, is based on the comic miniseries of the same name. Milly Alcock plays Kara Zor-El, Superman’s cousin, who is celebrating her birthday on a trip across the galaxy with the dog Krypto.
On another planet, they meet a young noble and honorable warrior named Ruthye (Eve Ridley) and become embroiled in a quest to fight back against a ruthless swordsman and archer named Krem of the Yellow Hills (Matthias Schoenaerts).
David Krumholtz and Emily Beecham star as Kara’s parents.
Supergirl: Woman Of Tomorrow will be released in cinemas on June 26th 2026.
