There are movies that we would love to visit in real life. Go to Tattooine and battle Sith with a real lightsaber. Or get drunk on a boat with Brody, Quint and Hooper. Be part of the interrogation of Catherine Tramell. How about being in a John Wick movie?
This new experience has opened up in a place called Area 15, just outside of Vegas. It’s a 12,000 square foot attraction that includes two bars and a retail shop. Chad Stahelski, the original director of John Wick, has produced the entire thing.
The experience combines action, theatrical stunt shows, and interactive gameplay, fully immersing you in the John Wick Universe. People will be able to be ‘in’ a John Wick movie, with a new storyline.
A new group will enter a new mission, each with its own characters, mythology, and iconography from the movies. They will have their wits tested as they solve puzzles and work their way through the story.
They can grab a drink at the Las Vegas Continental and rub shoulders with assassins or the crime bosses that drink there. The only thing they advise against is bringing your dog with you. There isn’t much mentioned about the safety of the people that visit. I guess it’s £200 per person, £200 extra for a bulletproof vest.
You can see more about it on the official John Wick Experience page.
