Juts dropped! Get it while it’s still kind of fresh and before anyone leaves it in that display case next to the cash register for three days longer than recommended. Marvel Studios has premiered the first trailer for Thunderbolts.
This is Suicide Squad, Marvel style as some of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s anti-heroes and villains get thrust together for a mission.
Sebastian Stan returns as the Winter Soldier, alongside Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Wyatt Russell as US Agent, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, and Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster.
Other familiar MCU faces are also involved, such as Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Geraldine Viswanathan as Valentina’s assistant, and Harrison Ford as U.S. President Thaddeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross.
Also appearing are Laurence Fishburne as Bill Foster, Rachel Weisz as Melina Vostokoff, and Lewis Pullman as Sentry.
The film is being directed by Jake Schreier, with a script from Joanna Calo, Lee Sung Jin, and Eric Pearson.
Marvel’s Thunderbolts is set for a May 2nd 2025 release.
