We had some details on Ryan Coogler’s new vampire movie the other day. Well, there’s now a tile and trailer, here is Sinners.
I like the way it says ‘From the director of Black Panther’ proudly. Obviously, I cannot say anything against Black Panther for, umm, reasons.
Sinners stars Michael B Jorden (surprisingly), Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O’Connell, Wummi Mosaku, Delroy Lindo, Lola Kirke, Li Jun Li and Jayme Lawson. Coogler is writer and director. The story is:
Twin brothers return to their hometown to start their lives over, where they encounter an evil presence that’s been waiting to welcome them back.
Great, double Jordan, it just gets better. Jordan is also set to direct another remake of The Thomas Crown Affair. He’s a very busy man.
Coogler is very busy as well; he’s working on a TV series called Scenes for Minors. So, many, jokes, must, fight, urge! I think it’s more about minorities than minors. Still, it’s pretty close to the mark.
