Let’s face it, we’re all grumpy old men who find little pleasure in anything anymore. Modern movies suck, social media sucks, in fact, the only thing that doesn’t suck is the wife. Now and then, there’s a little ray of light, like a new Wallace & Gromit movie.
Wallace and Gromit shot to fame by building a rocket to the moon, way back in 1989. Since then, they have gone global with several appearances. One of their best adventures was The Wrong Trousers, as it gave us Feathers McGraw, and it looks like he’s back.
Honestly, this trailer sparks joy. I can’t wait to see the guys back in all their stop-motion glory. The story for Vengeance Most Foul is:
Focus on Gromit’s concern that Wallace has become over-dependent on his inventions, which proves justified when Wallace invents a “smart gnome” that seems to develop a mind of its own.
The cast is Diane Morgan, Lenny Henry, Garth Jennings, Reece Shearsmith, Adjoa Andoh, Peter Kay, Muzz Khan, Maya Sondhi and Ben Whitehead has the voice of Wallace, replacing the late Peter Sallis. Some of those aren’t that well known in the UK, but a lot of them are very funny British comedies…and Lenny Henry.
Being very childish, this is one of my favourite jokes ever, from Curse of the Were-Rabbit:
Here are some behind the scenes still from the new Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Foul
