How are you this lovely Monday morning Outposters? Did you have a good weekend? I spent the weekend trying to cough up a lung, as I have glandular fever, or mono, as it’s known in the US. Don’t worry, though, I haven’t coughed over any of the memes, and I wiped my keyboard down, which I do a lot anyway.
It’s Monday, and the weekend is gone; it’s not coming back, well, until the end of this week. Did you see anything good over the weekend?
I had an 80s weekend, and watched Big and The Blues Brothers. I haven’t seen both for a long time, and even though I know Big well, it hits differently as an adult. The opening 10 minutes sees young Josh playing baseball, out on his skateboard, and generally being a kid. When you watch Big as a kid, you can’t wait to grow up. When I see it now, I wish I could be a kid again.
The nostalgia of Big hit me like a Monday. Now I’m sad that I’m old, and if I got a skateboard now, I would be in the hospital straight afterwards.
It’s Monday, which means movie memes for you to enjoy. There are only 12 this week, as it was hard to find any more. We all know that entertainment is in a desert; it seems the same with memes. It has nothing to do with the fact that I’m lazy.
