Something For The Weekend

It’s the weekend, you know what that means? Only two days to get the smell of work off you, before you have to go back. Stupid work, when will it ever end?

At least over the weekend, you can watch some movies and good TV. Here are some suggestions, from the Last Movie Outpost.

  • Tron: Arse – Movie – This was a cinema viewing, but it’s now on streaming. It’s a Tron movie, without Tron in it.
  • I Like Me – Docu – The story of John Candy, which was interesting, but nothing out of the ordinary.
  • Peacemaker – TV series – This was the second season, and since it came out, no one is talking about it anymore.
  • Weapons – Movie – Rewatch and still a very good movie.
  • Summer Holiday (1963) – Movie – Britain’s answer to Elvis’ Blue Hawaii. It had a young Boba Fett in it, singing and dancing.
Jeremy Bullock in Summer Holiday (1963)
  • Brewster’s Millions – Movie – Watched because of John Candy, and still a fun movie.
  • Jumanji – Movie – The original with Robin Williams, the CG is dodgy, but still fun.
  • The Woman in Cabin 10 – Movie – New on Netflix and not a bad mystery thriller.
  • Splash! – Movie – Again because of Candy, but also because of Daryll Hannah in her prime.
  • Beast of War – Movie – A new ‘shark’ movie and as tired as the whole shark franchise.
  • Annie Hall – Movie – Still a great movie from Woody Allen.
  • I Want to Live on Mars – Indie Movie – Which was a well made movie.
  • The Avengers – Movie – Had it on in the background at work, but still a good watch.

I think some of these are repeated from a recent Weekend article. It was when Stark posted it and didn’t know how the list in my head worked.

This weekend, Stranger Things 5 starts, which I’m rather looking forward to. What are you watching?
