More tabloid news from the Last Movie Outpost. A video of Dave Franco has been doing the rounds online. It seems the naughty boy was sleeping with film students, and he needs to apologise.
James Franco reveals Seth Rogen and his brother Dave Franco cut him off after he was exposed for having relationships with his acting class students 😳👀
“I’ll admit, I did sleep with students.”

Franco was accused of ‘sexual misconduct’ by 5 women, four of whom attended acting school at Studio 4. The school has now closed. In an interview, one of the women said that they were victims of Franco’s requests. This was all under the guise that it would help their career.
In an interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Franco strongly denied the allegations. However, in Oct 2020, the woman filed a lawsuit against him and two other men. It stated that the students were defrauded by Studio4, and were “constantly forced to perform sex scenes on camera”.
In 2021, there was a settlement agreement in the ballpark of £2.2 million.
We have to mention that all of the women Franco slept with were all of a consenting age. There is no evidence that any of the women were underage, just morally questionable.
#MeToo’ed
All of this was at the height of the #MeToo movement, where lots of women came forward about sexual misconduct allegations (see Harvey Weinstein). Franco was ‘cancelled’ for a time, but is now back and making movies.
As we know, Franco and Seth Rogen were good friends and worked on several movies together. However, as Franco says, they have no new movies planned for the foreseeable future.

One Twitter user summed it up nicely:
So James Franco got “MeToo’ed” by the mob for banging college age women and his boy of 20 years Seth Rogen threw him under the bus… meanwhile Rogen has no problem working with actual pedos in the industry… got it.
This is Hollywood in a nutshell.
Other people have said that Rogan “threw Franco under the bus”, left his friend, and went on to win Emmys and carry on as if nothing had happened.
