We all try our best here at the Last Movie Outpost. None of us are professional at, well, anything, and we write here out of love of movies. Now and then, we (and by that I mean “I”) get things wrong. So, I’m making a public apology.
I recently reviewed The Shepherd Code: Road Back, in which I made a glaring error. We receive an awful lot of indie movies, and keeping up takes hard work. Someone sent me a screener of The Shepherd Code:The Road Back, and I didn’t plan to watch it… but I did, and then I reviewed it.
While looking up details about the movie, in the wee small hours, to include in my review I got them wrong and included those from the original The Shepherd Code (2024), rather than the sequel that I was watching. In my defence, I hadn’t heard of the first one, and they didn’t call the second ‘2’.
That is no excuse for my error, though, and I’m issuing a full apology to the producers, actors, and everyone involved with making The Shepherd Code: Road Back (the sequel).

We have now updated the review, which you can read here.
Apologies
My review score has not changed, though, as we have always said on the Last Movie Outpost, our reviews will always be honest. If a movie is good, we’ll tell you; if not, we’ll give you the truth.
As a penance for my error, I have to watch The Last Jedi and think about what I did. Rest assured, in the future, we will do the best we can to not make this type of error again.
