An Outposter, because Outposters are wise, said over the weekend that it looks like the new DCU is simply going to be a Superman movie every summer, with Supergirl coming in just over a week, and Man Of Tomorrow set for next year.
This is all coming hot on the heels of Superman last summer.
This latest news will do nothing to shake that belief that the new DCU is certainly, at this juncture, Superman-centric.
The rumored spin-off series based around Skyler Gisondo’s Jimmy Olsen character, and others at the Daily Planet, has been confirmed and has a title.

It is said to be a crime anthology series with the Daily Planet reporter investigating various supervillains, serving as their introduction into the DCU, and allow other metahumans to feature.
Co-creators Dan Perrault and Tony Yacenda (American Vandal) are set to write, executive produce, and showrunner. It was previously rumored to be called DC Crime, but Gunn himself shot that down last year.
Now CBM is reporting that the show, to be executive produced by Gunn and Safari alongside the others, is to be called American Villain.
Some of the villain characters introduced in animated form in Creature Commandos are expected to make their live action debut. This will include Gorilla Grodd.
No date for potential release is yet known.
