Blink Twice was originally titled Pussy Island, but they had to change it because everyone’s offended by everything these days. I’m not bothered about seeing a movie called Blink Twice, but I will happily sit down and watch Pussy Island.

Blink Twice is the directorial debut of Zoe Kravitz and stars Channing Tatum, Naomi Ackie, Adria Arjona, Alia Shawkat, Kyle MacLachlan, Haley Joel Osment, Christian Slater, Simon Cox, and Saul Williams. Kravetz has written, alongside E. T. Feigenbaum. The plot is:
Frida is a young waitress in Los Angeles who has her eye on tech entrepreneur Slater King. On a dream vacation to his private island, strange things start to happen. Frida will have to uncover the truth if she wants to make it out alive.
This is why I never go to private islands. I mean, I never get invited, but also, I don’t want to get murdered or end up on a list.
Kravitz is due back as Catwoman in the sequel to The Batman from 2022. She is also engaged to the star of Blink Twice, Channing Tatum. Oh great, we’ve slipped into the realms of “Gossip Column”. Talk about favoritism, she never asked me to be in the role, did she? No, but she’ll cast her fiancé.
Blink Twice Pussy Island will be in theatres on the 24th of August.
