Guy Ritchie’s FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH Trailer

It’s funny how some movies seem to pop out of nowhere and the first you hear of them is a trailer. Guy Ritchie has a trailer out for The Fountain of Youth.

That looks intriguing. OK, so it’s Indiana Jones, National Treasure, The Mummy, Uncharted and a bunch of other movies? It might be interesting to see Ritchie’s take on it.

The Fountain of Youth stars John Krasinski, Natalie Portman, Eiza Gonzalez, Domhnall Gleeson, Carmen Ejogo, Laz Alonso, Arian Moayed, and Michael Epp. James Vanderbilt has written the story; he is known for The Rundown, Zodiac, The Losers and both of the Amazing Spider-Man movies. However, he has also written Independence Day: Resurgence and Scream 5 & 6.

The story is:

Two estranged siblings join forces to seek the legendary Fountain of Youth. Using historical clues, they embark on an epic quest filled with adventure. If successful, the mythical fountain could grant them immortality.

The Fountain of Youth will be on Apple TV and is produced by Skydance. The two companies have been working together for a while now. Recently, they released The Gorge, starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Miles Teller. There will be a new horror movie, Mayday, with Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh. Also, The Family Plan sequel led by Mark Wahlberg.

I like the idea that Portman and Gonzalez are trying to find the Fountain of Youth and gain immorality! Oh, wait, I just re-read this, it’s gaining immortality!

The Fountain of Youth will be streaming on Apple TV on the 23rd of May.
