Hulk Back, Daredevil Uncertain

After Tony Stark in the first movie, Nick Fury and Maria Hill in the second, and Doctor Strange in the third, it looks like Spider-Man will have some back-up in the fourth movie.

This time it is big, green back-up. Mark Ruffalo is set to reprise his role as Bruce Banner/Hulk in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Hulk

Reports at Nexus Point News state that Banner will have a decent-sized role in events.

Anything to wash away the taste of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, we guess.

Sadie Sink and Liza Colon-Zayas are now confirmed to have been cast.

Michael Mando is apparently in talks to return as Mac Gargan/Scorpion.

Shooting begins late summer in the UK.

Daredevil

Elsewhere in the world of Marvel, the movie participation of another MCU characater is less clear, as Charlie Cox confirmed in an interview with the SAG-AFTRA Foundation that he is unsure of Daredevil’s future participation in the movie side of things.

“I’m the worst person to ask. I have no idea. I don’t know, you have to ask the grown-ups. I don’t know anything. And I like not knowing anything, you know?”

“The only thing I’ll say is I’m just such a happy camper. I’m so thrilled to be here. I love that I get to tell the story in long-form. Also, because I’m part of the show, like you guys just had the experience, every season, we get to see the first two episodes on the big screen.

So I get that experience. It is a shame because, particularly with the pilot, it’s such a cinematic episode. It feels like it deserves to be seen on the big screen. But, I don’t know. Just write letters, everyone just write letters.”

With Krysten Ritter being spotted in character on set, and Mike Colter and Finn Jones also being seen in the area, speculation if rife that The Defenders are to re-form at some point.
