Just like you Outposters, I love to talk movies. One thing I love about the Last Movie Outpost is getting to interview people from the industry, like the cast of River of Blood.
Oddly, I haven’t been able to review River of Blood, as it’s been released on streaming in the US, but not in the UK yet. When I can, I will get a review up.
In the meantime, I was able to interview two of the British actors who were in the movie, Sarah Alexandra Marks and Louis James. Both of them were lovely and took out their own time to chat.
I thought the interview would have taken place together, but it was one at a time, Sarah first, then Louis. I didn’t know it at the time, but they live together. They are worth watching in order.
Sarah Alexander Marks
Sarah is a British actor and has been in many indie movies, with River of Blood being her latest. The movie is directed by Howard J. Ford, with whom she has worked before.
The story of River of Blood is:
Four kayakers take the wrong river into a jungle inhabited by a tribe of merciless cannibals.
I’ve said it before that cannibals are a new trend in indie movies. Anyway, here is Sarah talking about the movie.
Wasn’t she lovely? I loved how she wasn’t sure about Cannibal Holocaust or Ferox. As I said, they are both movies that, if you know, you know. I think it’s nice she didn’t know them; she’s too nice to watch things like that.
When I did the interviews, I chatted with Sarah first, then Louis. Some of the questions are the same, as I had prepared for an interview together. What is fun is the Quick Fire Round.
Louis James
Louis is again a British actor who has worked with Sarah many times, and again, formed a good working relationship with Howard J. Ford.
Again, what a great person to talk to. It was a shame they were on a schedule, because I could have chatted with both of them for hours.
They are both bigging up River of Blood off their own back and taking all of their own time to plug the movie. I can’t say too much about it, as there is an embargo on it for now.
You can see Sarah and Louis in River of Blood, streaming in the US. If not, you can find them in lots of other indie movies.
