Earlier this week, the UK’s BBC aired a documentary entitled Jared Leto: Hollywood’s Dark Secret. In the documentary, a total of ten women come forward with allegations against the actor and musician. Nine of them, according to the team behind the documentary, are speaking publicly for the first time.
The allegations claim that the star of Tron: Ares and Masters of the Universe was involved in criminal sexual conduct. The incidents, according to the women, occurred when they were teenagers between 2002 and 2016. At the time of the alleged incidents, the actor and musician was in his 30s and early 40s.
One of the women made a claim that she was subsequently sent a non-disclosure agreement and refused to sign it. The BBC stated that it had seen the NDA. The documentary makers also claim they have corroborated the events via friends and family of the women involved.
Responding to the documentary, Leto has spoken to The Hollywood Reporter saying:
“I have never sexually assaulted anyone in my entire life. These claims are absolutely and categorically false.”
Other allegations were made last year during a different expose. Leto and his team categorically denied any sexual misconduct or inappropriate relationships with women.
These new allegations come as Leto was getting good notices for his camp, comedic portrayal of Skeletor in the new Master Of The Universe movie.
