Avengers: Doomsday is shooting in the UK. Spider-Man: Brand New Day will follow. X-Men is drawing near. So as a result, all sorts of rumors and speculation are swirling about casting across the Marvel Cinematic Universe from all corners of the internet.
According to The Hot Mic, Sadie Sink’s character will be Mayday Parker, the daughter of Tobey Maguire’s Peter Parker incarnation. In the same edition, Jeff Sneider also said that Sarah Snook (Succession) is being lined up for a villain role alongside Martin Li/Mr. Negative.

Marvel Updates on X has said that Daniel Wu (Into The Bad Lands) is the front-runner to play Mr. Negative. Yet another outlet (MyTimeToShineH) says that, alongside a smaller role for Zendaya, Jacob Batalon’s Ned only has a cameo this time out.
Meanwhile, in the world of X-Men, Sneider has also said that the most likely casting is Colman Domingo as Professor X and Daisy Edgar-Jones as Jean Grey.
Denzel Washington’s name won’t stop circulating when people talk about Magneto. The rest of the X-Men roster is being speculated over online, but they honestly feel like more wish-list casting than anything concrete with some names far too big to be attached to ensemble roles in a Marvel movie.
Michael Lesslie is writing the script for the X-Men reboot, and reports about Thunderbolts director Jake Schreier being in talks to direct the film persist.
