It’s Monday again, this week, I have to start at 7am, I didn’t even know there was a 7am on a Monday. This is the biggest outrage since everyone argued whether Deckard was a replicant in Blade Runner.
The only good thing about a Monday these days is this article. The Monday memes are hilarious, and you can have a moan about what you saw over the weekend. We always give you suggestions of what to watch over the weekend, so what did you watch?
My moan for Monday is two horror movies: Clown in a Cornfield and Last Shift.
Clown in a Cornfield
This was a new one and looked OK. It’s perfectly fine, a bunch of kids get killed off by a killer clown. Original, right? I’m going to spoil this movie, as I need to save you from watching it this Monday. Basically, the story is Hot Fuzz; the town council doesn’t like the kids and kills them off.
The problem is that it was trying to copy Hot Fuzz. Hot Fuzz is one of those perfect movies, if you’re going to copy it, it better been damn good. Clown in a Cornfield is not good. Honestly, miss it, not just for the terrible writing and plot, but also the gay love story, which was totally shoehorned in.
Last Shift
I had heard good things about this, but on reflection, these recommendations were from ‘horror’ fans on Facebook shorts. I know, I know, I need to learn my lesson. Almost all of these shills had said that Last Shift was one of the best horrors out there, but it was not!
In fact, if horror had to be defined as a Monday, it would be Last Shift. There is a lovely actress in it and it starts well, but the longer it goes on, the more stupid it gets. The main protagonist is the stupidest person I’ve seen in a while. By the end of the movie, I was laughing at how ridiculous it was…nothing about it was scary!

What are you going to moan about this Monday? Have a moan and enjoy the memes.
