My moan this Monday is a movie called This is Not a Test. I thought it was going to be a half-decent zombie movie. It had zombies in it at least, but the rest of it was all about a group of ‘good-looking youngsters’ as they battled the zombies. Sadly, most of the movie was about teenage angst and how to feel about relationships and the pressures of being at school.
Think Day of the Dead, but written by the writers of Beverly Hills, 90210. The weird thing was, I wasn’t sure who the movie was aimed at. The script suggested teenage girls, but bloody gore made it seem like it was for the older generation of horror fans. Neither tone fit the movie at all, and I ended up wasting 2 hours. That’s typical of me; see something that looks cool, and it’s a steaming fat one.
