It’s Monday again, and the weekend is over. Thank goodness its over, as in the UK, last week we had a heatwave and nearly died!
Well, not died, but got really hot and sticky. It was horrible, like being stuck in an elevator with a Disney fan.
At least there were some movies to watch. Did you see anything good? Anything you need to have a Monday moan about?
I watched a movie called I Love Boosters. I have no idea why I watched this, really.
It’s a movie about PoC who boost things, basically steal from expensive clothes shops. Why is this justified? Because the lady who runs the shops called them names. The movie started out on a bad note, but it only got worse.
There’s a soul-sucking demon, animated de-skinned humans, and magical devices that suck clothes through wormholes. The entire movie was just terrible, I mean, awful garbage.
I got the impression it was written on drugs, filmed on drugs, and then watched on the same drugs. In the minds of the production team, they were creating a timeless comedy. In fact, the reality was very, very different. It reminded me of this.
