Welcome to another Monday, another start of the week, another mind-dredging work week. The only good thing about Monday is the movie memes from the Last Movie Outpost; if it wasn’t for that, well, let’s not think about that. The good thing is, we have memes; they are below.
And, as always, you probably have to have a moan about something. Well, Monday is the day to do it; what is your moan this week?
My Monday moan is The Devil Wears Prada 2. I know, I know, but I had to watch it because Mrs Boba wanted to. I can’t say I liked the first movie; it was perfectly average. I’ve seen it a couple of times, mainly as it was on TV and I couldn’t be bothered to find anything else.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 is one of those completely unnecessary movies. The first one was a one-hit wonder that never needed a sequel.
For me, the sequel was a complete ‘copy and paste’ of the original. Andy (Hathaway) carries on helping Miranda (Streep), who’s still an insufferable bitch. This time around, they have to deal with the fact that magazines aren’t what they used to be, and DEI.
Honestly, I couldn’t finish it! I had to leave, with about 30 minutes left. I just couldn’t stand it; the wife managed to finish it, but she hated it too. The biggest moan about that The Devil Wears Prada is now a billion-dollar franchise. You know what that means? Bloody more of them.
