RINGS Stars Join THE GENTLEMEN

Along with MobLand, we really are getting an extra enjoyable helping of Guy Ritchie’s organised crime obsession right now.

The Gentlemen is pitched much more playfully than MobLand, but that doesn’t mean it is without its grim moments, or double and triple crosses that leave you wondering where it is all heading. Season 2 was a delight… at times a blood soaked delight, but still.

Season 3 is now filming and the news is out that The Lord of the Rings trilogy co-stars Elijah Wood and Orlando Bloom are joining the sweary fun.

Also joining the production in the UK and Morocco is Robert Carlyle, frequent Ritchie collaborator Dexter Fletcher, and Star Trek: Picard season 3 alum Ed Speleers, alongside Saffron Burrows.

Gentlemen

Bruna Marquezine and Bugzy Malone round out the new faces.

Theo James and Kaya Scodelario are back as Lord Edward Horniman and Susie Glass. Also back are Ray Winstone, Joely Richardson, Vinnie Jones, Jasmine Blackborow, Harry Goodwins, Benjamin Clementine and Maya Jama.

In the new season, Eddie and Susie embark upon their most audacious project yet – building a new casino in the Middle East. But with Eddie becoming more like the nefarious people he now associates with, will the Duke’s unchecked ambition get them all into trouble?

Daniel Ings and Giancarlo Esposito were not listed in the press release.

The Gentlemen season 3 is out next year.
