Something For The Weekend

The weekend is here again and there’s nothing to watch on Netflix. Although, the new season of Reacher is out, I’m watching it at the moment, and so far, it’s good.

If you are looking for something over the weekend, we have some suggestions. It’s mostly older stuff because revisiting the classics is always good.

  • Horror Greats – TV series on Shudder – A good watch for horror fans
  • Air Force One – Movie – Lots of Presidential fun
  • The Black Scorpion (1957) – Movie – Giant monster movie, review on the way
  • Tremors – Movie – A classic and still highly enjoyable
  • The Gorge – Movie – New movie on streaming, we have a review
  • Alfred Hitchcock Presents – TV Series – A rather good anthology series
  • Race with the Devil – Movie – Classic ‘Satanist hill-billy’s are trying to kill us’ movie
  • Casino Royale (1967) – Movie – Batshit crazy, but very funny
  • The Relic – Movie – Solid horror movie
  • The Boys from Brazil – Movie – Fantastic movie! Review is incoming
  • Bride of Frankenstein (1937) – Movie – Better than I remembered
  • Forged in Fire – TV series – Interesting watch and makes you want to make a Ninja Sword
  • Crazies (1973) – Movie – The original, not that great

I binge-watched Horror Greats on Shudder last weekend, it was very good if you’re a horror fan. If you do watch it though, be warned, there are some activists on it. There are a couple of movie ‘experts’ who are PoC and hate how the black guy always gets killed first. Apart from that, it has got some interesting movies in it.

There’s a review of The Boys from Brazil on the way. I’m sure I have seen it, but with the mention of a TV series on the way, I put it on again. It was like watching it for the first time and what a movie! Brilliant story that was gripping.

So what are you watching this weekend?
