YES! The weekend is here, and it’s time to watch some movies and TV shows. The endless scrolling, trying to find something good, is tiresome. But have no fear, dear Outposter, we have some suggestions for you. If not, ignore the list we put together and suggest your own movies. Just throw all of our hard work back in our faces!
So, on with the Last Movie Outpost’s suggestions for movies this weekend.
- Blow Out – Movie – A hidden gem of a conspiracy thriller with John Travolta.
- Send Help – Movie – The new one from Raimi, and pretty good fun.
- Penguin – TV Series – Late to the party, but worth the effort, a damn good series.
- Blade Runner 2049 – Movie – Sorry, but I like this continuation; it’s solid.
- Peaky Blinders – Movie – Meh, I did see it, but couldn’t tell you anything about it now.
- We Need to Talk About Kevin – Movie – This is one harrowing movie, but nice to see method acting by Ezra Miller.

- What We Do in the Shadows – Movie – The original movie and still very funny, even with Waititititi.
- Pretty Leathal – Movie – A bunch of girly ballet dancers take on the Russian mob; guess who wins?
- The Dictator – Movie – Sascha Baron Cohen, with a movie that’s more documentary than comedy.
- How to Make a Killing – Movie – Glenn Powell is being gorgeous and chill, like every other movie. It’s a mildly good comedy.
- Hoppers – Movie – The new one from Pixel, which everyone seemed to like, but it’s instantly forgettable.
- National Treasure – Movie – The first one, and still a well-written family adventure.
- Dark Phoenix – Movie – X-Men, but terrible! I mean, really awful!
There you go, there’s most of your weekend sorted. What are you watching?
