Something For The Weekend

Another week has passed, and another Friday is upon us. It’s time for the sofa, a few beers, and some movies. Sadly, that also means endless scrolling through a streaming service, like you’re looking for a date on Tindr.

Never fear, dear Outposter, we have your weekend sorted, with some hand-picked movies. Read on, read on.

  • Mr Popper’s Penguins – Movie – It was on TV, and I couldn’t find the remote.
  • Bourne Identity – Movie – The first one, and still decent. Didn’t get around to the others.
  • Naked Gun – Movie – The new one, and not as bad as he thought, according to Hawk.
  • Fackham Hall – Movie – Which is still pretty funny.
  • The Long Walk – Movie – Very dark, but faithful to the book.
  • Nobody 2 – Movie – More of the same, entertaining if you just go with it.
  • Sisu: Road to Revenge – Movie – Same as Nobody 2, entertaining if you just go with it.

  • Toy Story 3 – Movie – The perfect end to a great trilogy… and that’s the end of that!
  • Sean Connery vs Bond – Docu – About the disagreements with the actor and producers, and very interesting.
  • Central Intelligence – Movie – Rock and that little fella, mildly amusing.
  • Finding Harry Potter – Docu – A series about the new HBO series.
  • Howard’s Way – TV Series – Stark is now on meds for his addiction.
  • Bad Boys: Ride or Die – Movie – More of the same, but only Smith is hard to look at now.
  • The Bride – Movie – Possibly the worst movie of this year, maybe the decade.
  • Dr Zhivago – Movie – David Lean, but also very, very long. I watched it in three stints.
  • Touch Me – Movie – New indie movie, but instantly forgettable.

There you go, that’s your weekend sorted. What are you watching?
